2. Data we collect and for what Purpose
We collect some data in order to deliver our services. We collect and manage your personal data transparently, fairly and securely and you can access, edit or delete the following information for your Personal Profile that is accessible only using your username and password. In the following we explain:
The site’s web servers are located in Germany and collect standard internet log information during user visits to the site. This information is used to assist with troubleshooting issues with the Site including performance and security related functions. The Service Provider (STRATO) has confirmed to fully respect the GDPR. In addition to server logs, our site does not use any external tool to collect data.
We collect and provide information about business incubators, accelerators, co-working spaces, other entrepreneurship support organizations and service providers, financial organizations, public administrations and similar institutions as well as startups (in the following “Centers”) as well as the respective persons to contact. For this purpose we may collect the following personal data: first and last name, email, company, role, website and contact data including phone and fax numbers, a photo as well as website and social network handles.
When you do not register in SPICE, but sign-up only to our newsletter we only collect the following data: first and last name, email, city, and country (as far as provided by you).
When we distribute surveys, we use the following data: first name, name, and email.
Centers who engage on our events may also provide us with further personal information in order to ensure their participation. The basis for storing data in this case is a contractual relationship.
Our users may provide to us Personal Data related of other people, for example to add someone to a SPICA Profile or add a new Center profile. As part of this process, users agree to and confirm that they have sought and received consent to share such person’s Personal Data with us prior to submission. In any case, SPICE will seek to re-confirm this consent within one month of receipt using the provided contact information. In the absence of consent confirmation, SPICE will delete such Personal Data.

3. We do not sell or share Personal Data with Third Parties
To provide our service, we show Personal Data(first name, name, function, phone number) in the Center profiles. We also provide a tool allowing sending an individual email to a specific person, but we do not show the email address. We do not share Personal Data with any third party in any other way.
There are certain situations in which we may share access to your personal data without your explicit consent; for example, if required by law, to protect the life of an individual, or to comply with any valid legal process, government request, rule or regulation.

4. Cookies and other Tracking Technologies
Tracking technologies, for simplicity referred to as cookies, are designed to collect and store small pieces of information about your browsing activity and are generally used to enable a range of functionalities including session management, multimedia playback, and performance monitoring.
